Lean Mass & FFMI Calculator

Enter weight, height, and body fat %.

FFMI
21.5
Adjusted: 21.6
Lean mass (kg)
68

How it works

We subtract fat from weight to get lean mass, then divide by height² for FFMI, and normalize to a reference height of 1.8m.

Formula

FFMI = (weight × (1 − bf%)) / height²

Worked example

Weight 80, height 178, bf 15% → FFMI ≈ 21.5.
