- Volume (m³)
- 2
- Total weight (kg)
- 4,800
How it works
Volume in m³ × concrete density (2400 kg/m³) gives total mass; divide by bag size for bag count.
Formula
Bags = (volume × 2400) ÷ bag size
Worked example
5×4×0.10m slab → 2 m³ → 4,800 kg → 96 50-kg bags.
FAQ
- Accurate?
- Approximate — add 5–10% buffer.
- Sand/aggregate?
- This is for ready-mix. For hand-mix, use 1:2:3 ratios.
- Columns?
- Yes — use column height as length and cross-section as area.
